    Happy Monday – Breakfast

    Breakfast at Tiffany’s… This is one of those wonderful posts you all seem to enjoy about food. And while I’m at it, this isn’t just a Monday post but an everyday post. I love breakfast. It may well be my most favourite meal of the day. While I was working in London, I was so tired all the time I stopped eating breakfast in order to sleep an extra ten minutes in the morning.     Mandela

    Twinkle twinkle little star… Maybe it’s a Japanese saying, but my grandmother told me that when someone passes away, they go up into heaven and when it’s night time, they poke a hole into the earth’s sky and peek through to look at us down here. That’s what we see as stars. I always loved this idea. That whenever someone looks up into the sky and sees the stars, their loved ones are looking down at them from up above.     Happy Monday – Kinder Surprise Advent Calender

    It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… This should really be a HAPPY MONTH post, as an advent calender lasts lot longer than just one Monday but it’s what’s making me happy this fine Monday, so there you have it. I love advent calenders. As children, we were never allowed a chocolate advent calender, but at least my brother and I got a paper calender each, so we wouldn’t fight over opening a door each morning.
