The British Tag

Rule Britannia…

Via a whole load of blogs I dabble into, I found the originator of the British Tag – John. I loved reading his (and many similar) blog posts and thought I’d give it a go as well!
Question 1: How many cups of tea do you have a day and how many sugars in your tea?
I’m actually a bit of an odd English Lady, as I don’t drink tea unless I’m having afternoon tea, in which case I will have a dash of milk to change the colour of the water and absolutely no sugar.
Question 2: Favourite part of your roast?
OMG the roast potatoes – I could literally eat them all day and forget about the rest of the roast…
Question 3: Favourite dunking biscuit?
I love most biscuits. My all-time favourites are custard creams, with a chocolate bourbon coming in very close second. Then you can’t beat ginger nuts or hobnobs and sometimes it’s just gotta be a plain digestive that gets dunked too long and falls into the tea…

Question 4: Favourite quintessentially British past time?
I love scones so much and the whole afternoon tea with mini cakes and mini sandwiches is just pure heaven.
Question 5: Favourite word?
Minging – haha! Could anything be less minging than a scone??
Question 6: Cockney rhyming slang?
My old China Plate ( = my mate!)
Question 7: Favourite sweet?
I love anything sugary, I have 28 sweet teeth, so this one is basically impossible for me to answer, but up there are flying saucers, nerds, cola flavoured bubble gum, fruit pastels, fizzy cola bottles, fried egg gummis…
Question 8: What would your pub be called?
The Pig and Pug (The P&P for short)
Question 9: No 1 British person?
Jason! 😉
Question 10: Favourite shop/restaurant?
Whittards – got my teapot there and love the crockery and beautiful boxed selections of teas. Plus it always smells divine in there.
Question 11: What British song pops into your head?
Rule Britannia!
Question 12: Marmite – love it or hate it?
Ugh – disgusting.
And that’s it from me – I’m gonna get Jason to answer the same questions for tomorrow’s post so stay tuned 🙂
