Happy Monday: Crochet

Happy Monday everyone! Yes it’s the start of the week and we’re all thinking that we didn’t quite get enough sleep over the weekend but it’s time to reflect on something making us happy this Monday – hopefully putting us in the right frame of mind for the coming week!
This week’s Happy Monday post is brought to your by the letter C, for Crochet.
There are a lot of on-going crafts projects in the L&A house, for example, I have a half completed cross-stich of a penguin’s belly next to me as I write (which will look incredible when it’s finished if my Cross-stiching award from Primary school has anything to say about it). We plan to make a lot of things, some things stay as potential ideas, some things take some shape/form, and some things do get made and look amazing.
Last week, Vanessa picked up a crochet hook and some balls of wool and decided to load up some videos on Youtube and learn how to get started. 20 minutes later, these cute little flowers had popped into existence.
I’m amazed at how fast and easy it seemed to put something like that together, and I’m going to give it a go myself. My ultimate goal is to make this:
