Amazing milkshake!

My milkshake brings all the boys to the yard…
Yeah, yeah, I know. I hate that song too. But before I tell you about the amazing milkshake, check out these crocuses. It’s a sign of spring and they are currently everywhere. I need to get my camera out and get some nice shots quick!

So, with the joy that spring brings, we have been going on walks around our area. And after one of these wanderings, we felt thirsty. A few weeks back I went to Two and Two café, which was okay. It’s been hyped up in this blog post but if I am honest, the hot chocolate was normal and I don’t even remember the brownie, so… distinctly average. That’s probably why we didn’t end up telling you all about it. In its defence however, the place is super cute and very comfortable and the owners are delightful!
I would say if you want something heavenly though, check out next door. Shake Point Ali is absolutely tiny. When we walked in the owners were chilling outdoors and had the music blaring at top volume. Frank Sinatra was singing his heart out to us. I loved the place already. We were lucky that no one else was around, because the lady then had enough time to properly work on our chocolate milkshake. It’s probably the best I have ever had. Crumbs of flake on the top and thick chocolate sauce covered the bottom… I literally licked the inside of the cup when it was all gone. I can’t believe we even remembered to take a photo of it, as we sadly got only one milkshake to share between the two of us (d’oh!) and we almost ended up fighting over it, so I am sure we will be back there very soon. People!! I can only say, go here and get a chocolate milkshake – spring is here after all! 🙂
