NaNoWriMo

I’m just a little bit caught in the middle…
Just to pre-warn you all, the blog is going to be one big boardgame fest this month, as I’m taking part in NaNoWriMo. Basically I’m going to attempt to write a novel in November. It’s a bit scary, as it’s a bit of a dream of mine to actually write books and if I don’t make it then a dream is crushed, but I just kinda want to know if I can do it or not. So this is a good test.

In my ‘absence’, Jason is taking over the blog. I’m sure it will now be filled to the brim of our epic trip to Essen for the Boardgame Expo, boardgame shops we’ve visited (we go to at least one in every city we go to) and our current favourite games.
I will be back now and then to say ‘hi’ and hopefully by the end of the month I will have written a novel! It’s 50,000 words in one month and I managed 2,029 yesterday, so I’m going strong. In fact I’m over the daily target. It’s a miracle, especially as in typical me-style, I have no story, no idea what happens at the end (or the middle or the beginning really), only two characters who are somehow entwined. Anyway, I’d better get back to writing… so bis bald and lots of love x
