It wasn't me…

It was the ladybird…
So I’m really tired today. I didn’t sleep well and I had to work from 7am until 4pm. Then I ran home, had two ice creams, went to a friend’s birthday party which was full of cats and my allergies went crazy so I had to leave. Then I came home, had two more ice creams and now I don’t know what to write…
So I am going to tell you about this little cutie.
photo 2Not only can you find them in the great outdoors eating lost of bugs, they are also in the shops in Germany. The Germans really seem to love ladybirds (ladybugs for those of your from the wrong side of the pond) – and this one is huge. It only cost 20 cents… so I bought it along with some cake. The cake disappeared and I would like you to all imagine that the creature ate it and not me… ahem.

Ha, I’m going to be in Berlin next week! I’ll keep an eye out for these little dudes! What a bargain! Also, your style of eating sounds pretty similar to mine 🙂 Linda.

So THAT’S what a lady bird is. I had always thought it was some kind of European bird. All is clear now. I think ice cream is a good idea, too. A nice banana split would be rather nice right about now.

I actually don’t like bananas, but I LOVE banana split – how funny! I think another ladybird might be on my dessert menu tonight 🙂
