Tell me when will you be mine…
A friend sent me this and I have to say it made me giggle. Read about the 15 different flavours of kitkat in Japan – I think I’ve had most of them and the Matcha (Green Tea) is by far the best. Wasabi is also a winner…
I’m not sure I ever want to connect to a public wifi connection ever again after reading this article.
Haha – being handsome seems to help if you want to be a politician with lots of Twitter followers.
Ealing is where I grew up – who knew it was actually the centre for the rock universe?! Amazing!!
This annoyed me so much – how does Japan get away with this still?

I know!! And I always use public wifi when I’m abroad so I guess I shall have to keep risking it… eeep!

That wifi article is scare-mongering. The “black box” they describe is basically just a MiFi sort of device. If you connect to a “free wifi” setup and don’t take steps to protect your data, it’s easy for people to sniff your packets. Use firewalls, use encryption, use VPNs, and use WiFi only in places that you trust it. All the stuff that article talks about- none of that would happen if these people were in a Starbucks connected to the Starbucks wifi, which is clearly provided by a reputable provider.
Internet safety is a lot like big-city safety: use common sense, keep your wits about you, and pay attention to your surroundings, and you’ll usually be fine.

I do agree – but articles like these always scare me! That can only be a good thing though, as I do think we all need to be more careful with our private information…

Haha – I literally love everything wasabi! Currently obsessed with the wasabi peas and I eat them one can at a time – hehe 🙂
