It’s Christmas!!
Yup, it’s the most-wonderful-time-of-the-year – apparently anyway. I won’t be a bah-humbug and say that surely summer is nicer – as it’s summer on the other side of the world. I spent one Xmas in Ghana at the beach and it didn’t feel like Christmas at all. I think I will always need some cold, dark wintery weather in order to feel like Santa is on his way.
We opened our last Advent Calendar door today. Sadly in Germany you only get 24 doors, as today is the day everyone celebrates. Presents and food come out and families gather to spend time together whilst decorating the tree. For us at L&A, we did our German Xmas and gave each other our presents already. We must have been very good this year as Santa came extra early and brought the most amazing things! And tomorrow, we see what English Santa has brought for us – hehe!
