    Moon and Pea

May the force be with you… I’ve found my new favourite cafe in Liverpool already. As soon as we arrived we grabbed an Independent Liverpool card, which gives you a free drink or percentage off your meal at local restaurants. There are no big chains involved, just small cafes that aren’t run by massive corporations. I love finding a hidden hot chocolate that can’t be beaten and Independent Liverpool makes it so easy! Moon and Pea was top of my list of places to try in Liverpool. I’d heard only exciting things about Lark Lane and it’s all true! This street has tons of cute places to grab a bite and this…

Mowgli – The best curry in England?

Stop the Press!! So last week we ate four curries. We also had a Chinese and a full English Roast, but today I’m going to tell you about the final curry. It was one of the best curries of my life and I half want to keep it a secret from you all and half want to tell the entire world. Mowgli in Liverpool is actually amazing. It all began in 1927 in 15 Klosterstraße in the North-West area of Spandau in Berlin. Ice cream is actually still sold at this address now and even though we’ve not been there yet, we often see the ice cream pots in…

Why English food is the best!!

Food glorious food… When people say English food is bad, I just feel sorry for them. They obviously haven’t experienced England properly. When people say the food in London is bad, I just pity them and think these people are very lucky to have met me – now they have a chance to be educated in food from my wonderfully delicious home. London has the best food in the world. Anything you want to eat – it’s there. From curry and cakes for breakfast to fresh bagels and soup at 3am. Hungry for a typical English breakfast at dinner time? No problem for London! I literally could go on and on…

    Best Pancakes in Berlin

Eggs, milk and flour, pancake power, look at his milky yellow sunshine face flip it now flip it good ooh, flip it now flip it good ooh… Sunday brunching is one of my favourite ever things! When the girls from work suggested pancakes I couldn’t say no, and I think you will all be thanking them too after looking at these beautiful nommy photos! My favourite thing about the place is the menu. You have six styles of pancake to choose from and that’s it. No faffing about – two of us shared the WTF (ahem) – bacon and maple syrup. It was so thick – the length of my thumb and…
