Bunting
Rule Britannia… As you may know, the Queen is coming to Berlin, so in true British tradition, this weekend I made some bunting! I used scraps from my favourite bits of material and it took about an hour to make this little wall hanging for our hallway. I LOVE it – super happy and also really happy at how I managed to get completely straight sewing lines – practice is slowly making perfect 😉 Our place looks much cuter now – maybe the Queen will pop in for a cuppa?

Homemade Ice Lollies
Apparently they are called lolly ices in Liverpool… they do everything backwards it seems… I have been eating a LOT of ice cream. In my defence, it is really hot here. And I love ice cream – in fact it’s my favourite thing ever. Plus I’m now an adult and I am old enough to make my own decisions as my dad always says… but still, even I know that 8 ice creams a day isn’t very good for me. Ahem. So in a plea to myself to be a little more healthy, I have been making ice lollies! If you need something quick and refreshing that is actually good…
