Your links are so on point!!!! I am so glad you feel the same way about tube strikers. I mean, I know this time around it was more about them having to work nights but to be honest I’ve seen SO many Japanese-speaking roles that require night shifts due to the time difference and the salaries are never over 30k.
And that Jew/Migrant thing. I like to follow BBC Radio 2 on FB but the comments… Oh my. They are enough to make me want to leave the country.

Totally agree with you – I feel like after studying Japanese at uni and then 5 years of living there it would be nice to get more than 20k as a starting salary – makes me want to be a tube driver! And the more news I hear about the UK the less I want to return – thinking I might have to become German after all…
