Foodie Penpals

We like to party…
You all know I’m obsessed with food and so when I heard about Foodie Penpals I couldn’t resist – especially as two of my favourite bloggers Charlotte and Bev are both involved too!
Milou, a lovely lady from the Netherlands, sent me the coolest package ever!


Check out all these goodies. They arrived at 8pm and ten minutes later then Pims (just like Jaffa cakes) and the Snack a Jacks had been devoured! There was a lovely card and I had said to Milou that I love citrus flavours, so she had sent a load of fun lemon/ lime/ orange flavoured things to us. I’m most excited about trying the pea soup – it reminds me of mushy peas – I hope it’s good!

I’m sure as the months go by I will figure out what’s best to send and what questions to ask as Milou was on the ball and has been doing this for almost a year. She even asked if I was a baker and what my favourite flavours are.
I had a bit of a challenge finding things to send to Jess as she’s in Frankfurt and we have the same supermarkets in our cities, so Jason and I searched for some fun things you can only get in Berlin, like CurryWurst Sauce from the famous CurryWurst 36 shop – I can’t believe this didn’t break in the post as it’s a massive glass bottle and I was imagining scenes from a horror movie where everything ends up covered in ketchup! We also sent her some fun Berlin Amplemann sweets and our current favourite Rittersport chocolate flavour (Nugat) and coffee and honey from Berlin. Anyhoo, it was so much fun!!!
