    Poor me :(

Don’t stop till you get enough… Ugh. I’m still sick. I’m ill constantly – in London I would be ill half of the time and super-well the other half. Here I’m sick a lot less, but this week has been horrible. I got a normal sickness which normally lasts a couple of days. Then we got guests. Then my allergies went absolutely crazy. Then I got the guest’s sickness. Joy oh joy! I have been lying in bed not entertaining guests for a week now. I’m off work as I’m so weak. I can’t stop coughing and sneezing, my eyes are so drippy I feel like I’m watching Bambi on loop.…

    A walk around our neighbourhood

You show me yours… and I’ll show you mine… At the beginning of the year when it was snowing and too cold to go outside, I was scouring the internet for fun blog-related projects to try out and I came across The Piripiri Lexicon’s Show Me Around Your Neighbourhood. But I have to say, I LOVE IT. Working at Uniqlo is very monotonous. We have to fold in a particular way. We have set rules for approaching…

I would love to say that it’s really complicated and arduous, but you all know me, I like things simple and so here we go… You will need: 3-4 Bananas 1 pack of Digestive biscuits 1 can of condensed milk That’s it. Three ingredients and you will be able to make a cake. The cake takes a while to make as you have to boil the condensed milk for almost two hours. Put the can in a saucepan of hot water and on medium heat stir the contents occasionally. Do be careful that there is always…

    Friday Linkies

I will walk 500 miles… 18 German words you won’t believe exist – hehe – I love this kind of thing!! Do you know the word Dreikaesehoch for example? In English it means Three Cheeses High but I’m sure you can’t guess what it actually means… Apparently German people have been drinking beer for at least 2,000 years. In fact it is almost the first thing that any foreigner wrote about them. Fascinating article all about sausages – just in case you still aren’t sure you want to read it, let me give you one more snippet: the Nurembergers sausages from Nuremberg, are sausages about the size of a finger. “They…
